In order to produce pragmatic, creative and internationally competitive human resources that can lead the knowledge-based society in the 21st century, the College of Electronics and Information Engineering has established the educational objectives as follows, so that the college may cultivate specific abilities of the students, based on the field-oriented engineering education system in the electronics, information and communication fields.

Department Introduction

In our department, currently 13 full-time professors, who carry out researches in the electronic, computer and communication engineering fields, are devoting themselves to cultivate essential technical manpower needed for building up the foundation of national information communication by implementing education and researches on core technologies. Our department focuses on rational and future-oriented thinking ability that accords with the globalization and informatization era, along with the professional technology education of electronics, computer and communication fields. To achieve the goals, all the subjects maintain harmonious balance between theories and design activities, including the compulsory experiments and practical training in an environment-friendly manner. And also the project-type in-depth education is implemented in order to build up a good environment for computer simulation and design, and cultivate the ability to create advanced technologies.
