Department of Radio Wave Engineering

Department Introduction

As the role and function of radio wave was getting more and more important in order to meet the enhanced and renewed demand for electronic communication along with the continuous development of information and communication industry, the Department of Radio Wave Engineering was established in 1997, so that it could begin to train high-level manpower in the field. The subcategories dealt with by our department are the propagation properties, which appears in mobile and satellite communication, and the wave transmission related to various phenomena that occur during transmission. And also, this department deals with the microwave elements and circuits, which are related to active and passive circuits of microwave, and antenna and radar engineering, which are related to characteristics of various antennas, and operating principles and properties of microwave antennas.
