Department Introduction

The education of Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering focuses on rational and future-oriented thinking that accords with the globalization and informatization, along with professional technology education of electronic engineering, computer engineering and communication engineering fields. To achieve the goals, all the subjects maintain harmonious balance between theories and design activities, including the compulsory experiments and practical training in an environment-friendly manner. And also the project-type in-depth education is implemented in order to build up a good environment for computer simulation and design, and cultivate the ability to create advanced technologies. The research activities in the graduate school focus on the specialized fields such as Computer System, Next Generation Internet, Computer Network, Wire/Wireless communication System, Speech and Image Signal Processing, Optical Communication System, Integrated Circuit Design, and Nano Elements.

Training creative leaders equipped with pragmatic applicability, which is based on new professional knowledge and scientific thinking in communication fields, in order to take the lead in knowledge-based information era
