Department Introduction

The control and measuring engineering is an academic field that deals with complex systems composed of electric, electronic and mechanical elements in order to achieve the goals of modern industrial society, in which all the processes are automated and all the systems focus on thigh-level efficiency. And the engineering deals with development of industrial automation system, automatic control theory and application, including the design and development of systems in which microprocessors are used. In the case of advanced countries, the research of control and measurement has positioned itself as a backbone of modern engineering. And in the case of Korea, the research has been becoming a driving force of cutting-edge industries, playing a bigger role in the industry. The graduate school of Department of Control & Measurement aims at producing excellent researchers who will lead the advance science in this country. And also, the graduate school focuses on training competent engineers who will contribute to the development of cutting-edge industries.

Educational Objectives

Education focused on nurturing leaders who will contribute to th development of our society The education of our graduate school aims at cultivating excellent research manpower in the engineering field, who have abilities to study and develop original and fresh projects. To achieve the goal, the education has been implemented, focusing on pragmatic, applicable and professional technology education. And also the education focuses on cultivating the ability with which the student carry out creative researches, and take part in the informatization and globalization, and furthermore, contribute to the development of our society.
